| The dimensionality of this piece is great, Reidar! I feel as if I can feel every element in this image. It is a WOW for me.
You are at the upper limit of sharp, where it is still realistic and not overdone and without artifact and the detail is brilliant.
I also think having left the blue areas in there in the upper left was wise so that the bg doesn't look like those flat black bg's we so often in florals because of light falloff.
I speak in superlatives because I think this shot deserves very high praise, Reidar. |

| Just lvely, Hazel. Dreamy and artistic. Wonderful comp and the color and treatment are a delight.
I wonder if smoothing Melanie's skin a tad more would be more in keeping with the project? Not the eyes, but around the mouth, cheekbones and forehead. Just a smidge. I'd also 'smudge' the vertical edges of her black top's neckline a bit more. Lastly, I'd lighten the shadow just under Melanie's right clavicle (collarbone) a bit so it isn't that prominent.
Listen to me telling you this stuff - sounds as if I know even 1/10th of what you do about this, doesn't it? LOL!
By the way - this is great, Hazel. Great. :^) |
